MegaPlatinum is the creation of NYC rock and roll renaissance man Nick Vivid. Having decades of experience making music and dealing with every aspect of the music industry, Nick has spent his life living and breathing rock and roll.

His earliest inspirations came from Kiss and the glam / shock rock 1970′s. At a young age he picked up guitar and drums. Before he knew any instruments, he wrote his first 2 albums in his head when he was 12 years old. In high school, Nick competed in state choral festivals with his distinctive tenor voice. He spent countless hours learning multitrack recording in his parents’ basement and would make 5 albums of original material before the age of 20 in which he played all of the instruments.  Nick put together his own bands after high school, learning the DIY ropes of marketing, distribution, and touring. Eventually he would find himself in NYC apprenticing under the tutelage of original Kiss manager Bill Aucoin, learning the management side of the music industry. Since his arrival in New York, Nick has worked with thousands of bands: Writing, Arranging, Producing, Engineering (live and studio), Mixing, Mastering, Packaging, Artwork, Releases, Distribution, Web design, Internet marketing and promotion.

He is currently the frontman for The Nuclears.
